Beer City is a new series of beer happenings. We combine running and beer-festing into one day, building a new, active community of folks along the way. In 2026, we’re visiting Alameda, Bishop Ranch, Fremont, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, Santa Rosa San Diego and San Jose. For the first time, we’re heading to Texas too for Beer City Fort Worth!
How is Beer City different for you as a brewer? Breweries love events but also have ‘festival fatigue.’ You’re wary of the commitment because of resources: time, staff, the cost of your product. The aim of Beer City is to be easy to join and clearly valuable for you. Each Beer City aims to promote your business.
This is a two-hour morning pour followed by an afternoon that pushes people to your taproom which includes Shindig, the Beer Trail and in some cases a free Beer City Trolley.
If you’re a pouring partner, we:
- Tap you into other marketing, like our advertising and social media calendar
- Reimburse you for your first keg
- Provide free passes to the Festival and Beer City Half run to share with your staff and customers
- Include you in the afternoon schedule through the Beer Trail, Trolley or both.
The goal is to drive attention to your business before and after Beer City. Over 50% of our attendees come from out of town so we are bringing you new and returning business. If you don’t have a local taproom, we work with you to find a taproom pouring you delicious beverage.
