See the sights, run the bay, and drink the brews that make San Diego call itself THE Beer City all its own. Beer City Festival is a full day of fun. Drink local and dig it!

We are thrilled to bring San Diego more racing and MORE beer tasting! Come join us for this Valentine’s Day jaunt through in Mission Bay! We offer half marathon, 10k and 5k races. All runners (and strollers) receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher’s medal, a custom tasting glass and unlimited tasting at the post-run Festival. The post-race refreshment will introduce you to some of San Diego’s and California’s best brewers. What better place to DRINK LOCAL than San Diego?

Introducing Beat the Beast, our special beer mile where you race others and one of our Beer City Beasts! Drink 4 12-oz beers while running a mile. If the beast catches you, you’re out of the race. Better move quick! There’s a new beast at each Beer City, so LOOK OUT!
Beat the Beast starts at 11am.
Once the running and Beast Besting is done, join us for SHINDIG, a Beer City party with music, food, and games at Seek Brewing Company. Your ticket covers your first beer and is available at checkout when you register.
The Shindig is Beer City HQ for the afternoon with fun games.
Haven’t had enough yet? There’s more! Hop on The Beer City Trolley! This bus runs from 11am – 5pm and visits our local brewers. A bus comes by every 45 minutes to keep you and your beer fresh. Unlimited tasting is included for your run but if you’re buying for a Lazy Friend, tickets are here.
Trolley Tickets are available when you register to run. You can also buy them a la carte.
Yes, everyone of all ages can enjoy Beer City. Everyone receives a wrist band. Only ticketed guests receive tasting wristbands.
Families are welcome at Beer City. That includes dogs.
